

It would be nice if there was a platform with stairs built into it, like a spiral staircase, that could just be stacked vertically on one or maybe two squares at the base of the building stack. This will also help you in the long run for surviving the extra long droughts on hard mode where even your two depth starting reservoir will run dry. You have to have a ton of empty land for many squares around your buildings for all of the infastructure required to access the upper levels - stepped platforms, stairs, etc. Some tips: - Store water and food for the first few droughts rather than trying to produce through them. Again, when playing the Iron Teeth, wind would be a nice option in the early stages at least, before you get the Engine. Only complaints I have are 1)the waterwheels don't seem to work very well - sporadic, even in deep water. After successfully growing your civilization to a certain point, it's very satisfying to unlock the more advanced techs, such as paper and explosives and the engine, allowing you to bring water into formerly desolate areas and settle them. If you want to stop population growth, just pause the pod. The Iron Teeth are more challenging, but I think more satisfying on several levels, such as the ability to control population, as they only reproduce when you build a pod and let it run for several weeks.
